Realization of the multiplexer channel interface for the PDP 8/e computer
Description
The information input-output channel for the PDP 8/e computer is described. This channel can serve seven information users in a multiplex mode. The organization of priority servicing of the users of the channel are discussed. Via the selector-multiplex channel, the PDP 8/e processes enquiries for interruption from the users switched to the PDP-9- a second computer in the PDP 8/e system, as well as performs a buffer information output in the M-222 computer. The rate of data exchange in the channel is 1.2 m bit/sec
