Factorization of Feynman graphs at finite temperature and chemical potential

I report on a recently discovered general property of Feynman diagrams in thermal field theories (Thermal Operator Representation): the thermal part of any diagram can be obtained directly from the vacuum part by means of a simple diagram-dependent linear operator with interesting properties
