Transfer cross sections for 28Si+58,62Ni

Description

Quasielastic reaction cross sections have been measured for 28Si+58,62Ni at an energy ∝40% above the Coulomb barrier. A strong isotope dependence in the transfer cross sections, which are dominated by the one-neutron pickup reaction, has been observed. A simple DWBA analysis can give a consistent description of the experimental results. (orig.)
