Description
Solar cosmic ray (SCR) energetics is considered. The total accelerated particle energy and their relative contribution into flare energetics are meant as SCR energetics. It is assumed that the SCR spectrum in the source is formed under the action of a combination of accelerating mechanisms providing the alternating spectrum shape in different energy ranges. For a number of solar flares the estimations of the total particle number accelerated in the flare and the total energy carried by them are given. On the basis of the analyzed data a number of conclusions is obtained. It is shown that on the whole the SCR energetics estimations do not contradict the flare energetics estimations. The SCR contribution into flare energetics is not great (<= 10%). An approach between the estimations of the spectrum shape and SCR energetics and the acceleration theory rested on contemporary predictions about the neutral current layer as a basis for developing the flare process, is observed
