Microreiforcement by oligoester acrylates of radiation cross-linked compositions on the basis of plasticizated PVC

Description

Microreinforcement by oligoester acrylates of radiation cross-linked compositions, containing 100 mass parts of polyvinylchloride (PVC), 7 mass parts of dibasic lead phthalate, 0.5 mass part of dibasic calcium stearate, 4 mass parts of aerosil, 70 mass parts of didodecylphthalate, part of which were succesively substituted by various oligoester acrylates, has been investigated. From the compositions films were prepared, which were subjected to γ-irradiation in argon medium at the dose rate of 0.005 MGy/h, the value of absorbed dose being ∼ 0.1 MGy. It is shown that preservation of globular structure during reprocessing causes the effect of microreinforcement of plastified PVC by reactive incompatible or partially compatible oligoester acrylates at the expence of their accumulation in interglobular space and increase in rigidity during cross-linking by γ-irradiation of polymer transition chains
