Fukushima 2 years after, safety still under way
Creators
Description
Whereas dismantling was planned to start in 2015 and supposed to last 40 years, the Japanese government tries to reduce these delays, notably because he hopes to start the Japanese nuclear reactors again. The article evokes the implementation of new safety authorities and the adoption of new and more constraining safety standards. However, the new authority might authorize the restart of the currently stopped reactors before the required works have been performed. The article comments the safety measures adopted at the international level or in different countries after the Fukushima accident. An article comments the concerns associated with thyroid anomalies noticed on children in Japan
