One consequence with regard to the reduction of errors in the field of reliability of controlling and supervising activities is the use of aptitude tests. In addition, the working system must be planned according to the principles of information collection and processing and working activities. In certain fields such activities can have a greater effect than selection processes. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Eine Konsequenz im Hinblick auf die Verringerung der Fehler im Bereich der Zuverlaessigkeit von Steuer- und Ueberwachungsleistungen ist die Verwendung von Eignungsuntersuchungen. Ausserdem muss das Arbeitssystem nach den Gesetzmaessigkeiten der Informationsaufnahme, Informationsverarbeitung und Arbeitshandlungen gestaltet werden. Solche Aktivitaeten koennen in bestimmten Gestaltungsbereichen groessere Wirkung als Selektionsprozesse zeigen. (DG)
