Programme control unit for the Camac-vector systems (BUP-1)

The article deals with program control unit BUP-1 made on CAMAC standard. The unit program memory equals 16 commands. The memory capacity is 8x16-digit words. Provision is made for recirculation of the program. Despite its rather small storage the control unit provides for successful construction of the line metering systems. Noise immunity of the control unit is insured by making the unit components as matrixes with soldered-up pins. Besides, the given memory makes it possible to quickly transfer from one program to another by changing the matrix cards. Several limitations arising from putting the external . signals to the unit circuit are compensated for by substantial decrease of the software in the read-out system
