Description
The process for catalytic radioiodine labelling of m-iodobenzylguanidine is described. This labelling procedure will be used in the routine production process. A radiochemical yield below 80% is obtained at 100 0C within 15 min. Separating unbonded iodine 131I the radiochemical purity is more than 98 permill. After labelling the solution is made isotonic and brought on a pH of 5.5-6.5. By sterile filtration an injectable solution is obtained. (author)
