Description
The cyclotron resonance of electrons in surface subbands on Hgsub(1-x)Cdsub(x)Te is examined at frequencies in the range of the optical phonon modes. Polaron effects on the surface resonance are shown to be significantly smaller than the polaron shift and broadening of the bulk electron resonance. (author)
