Computerized core refuelling - a global approach
Description
The paper concerns the use of computers in core refuelling. Significant improvement of the overall operations can be obtained by applying computer techniques to the following areas of the process: 1) preparation of the core refuelling sequence, 2) operational sequence and data recording, and 3) manipulator crane and fuel bridge movements surveillance. The first task is exclusively software based, whereas the latter two tasks require the use of computer hardware and instrumentation features on special computerized equipment. (UK)
