Temperature-time temporal approach to approximation and extrapolation of resistance characteristics of multicycle fatigue of high-temperature alloys. Communication 1

Description
It is shown that the process of fatigue damage and failure of nickel superalloys under multicycle loading at high temperatures is carried out with the participation of creep-typical micromechanism. Parametric methods of Larson-Miller, Sherby-Dorn, Manson-Saccop and an equation of the temperature-time dependence are analyzed for their applicability to approximate resistance characteristics of multicycle fatigue of nickel superalloys EhI867 within the range of working temperatures. Mathematical processing of experimental data by means of computer has permitted determining a temperature range satisfactorily described by temperature-time dependences under consideration within the temperature range of 873-1373 K and durability range of 104-109 cycle (0.1-5000 h). Approximation accuracies by the mentioned dependences are compared
