Bure laboratory: the studies on the waste storage are in progress

Description
The aim of the Bure laboratory is to study the feasibility, the safety and the reversibility of a radioactive waste storage on the long term that is to say to check that the rock can ensure a confinement during several dozens of thousands years to cut off the radioactivity from environment and study the possibility of wastes recovery. In any case the laboratory site could be a storage site. (N.C.)
