Extraction of radionuclides from surface of stainless steel by supercritical carbon dioxide containing crown ethers and hydrophobic acids

Description
Scientific bases of supercritical fluid deactivation of surfaces of solids contaminated with cesium, strontium and actinides are developed. It is established that cesium and strontium can be removed from the surface of stainless steels by supercritical carbon dioxide containing dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6 (DCH18C6) and fluorinated carboxylic acid or di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid (HDEHP). Microquantities of americium, plutonium and so uranium are removed from the surface of stainless steel effectively by supercritical carbon dioxide containing mixture of DCH18C6 and HDEHP or ω-hydroperfluoroenanthic acid. 90-95 % of summary β- and γ-activity and 97-99 % of summary α-activity can be removed in three stages of treatment by supercritical carbon dioxide containing anyone of two mixtures mentioned above
Abstract (Russian)
Разработаны научные основы технологии сверхкритической флюидной дезактивации поверхности твердых тел. Установлено, что цезий и стронций могут бать удалены с поверхности нержавеющей стали сверхкритическим углекислым газом, содержащим дициклогексил-18-краун-6 (ДЦГ18К6) и фторкарбоновую кислоту или ди-2-этилгексилфосфорную кислоту (Д2ЭГФК). Микроколичества америция и плутония, также как и микроколичества урана, могут быть эффективно удалены с поверхности нержавеющей стали сверхкритическим углекислым газом, содержащим смеси ДЦГ18К6 с Д2ЭГФК или с ω-гидроперфторэнантовой кислотой. 90-95 % суммарной β- и γ-активности и 97-99 % суммарной α-активности могут быть эффективно удалены с поверхности нержавеющей стали трехстадийной обработкой сверхкритическим углекислым газом, содержащим любую из двух упомянутых выше смесейFiles
