Description

The 2019 International Conference on Strongly Correlated Electron Systems, SCES2019, took place at the Okayama Convention Center in Okayama, Japan from September 23 to 28, 2019. The meeting was held by the organization committee with co-host of The Physical Society of Japan and also supported financially by EXPO'70 FUND. SCES is an international conference series that has developed into the primary meeting for those interested in all aspects of strongly correlated matter. The meeting gathered an audience of 841 participants from 34 countries. Each day of the conference started with a plenary session followed by four parallel oral sessions in the morning and four after lunch. There were 187 oral presentations: 7 Plenary, 3 Prize, 96 Invited, 80 Contributed and 1 Summary talks. 597 Posters were presented in four days. The Summary Talk was given by Prof. Hilbert von Loehneysen. More information can be found at the conference web site: http://sces2019.org/.
