Description
We have been developing a short pulse x-ray generation system through Laser-Compton scattering. A stable electron source with 38 MeV energy was developed to generate 30 keV X-ray pulses under a head-on collision configuration. Electron energy was measured by a bending magnet to be 38 MeV with 0.2% bandwidth (FWHM). Normalized emittance (rms) was measured to be 3.5 mm.mrad. We also demonstrated the x-ray generation and imaging. (author)
