Description
The problems of building work associated with the construction of nuclear power installations including infrastructure are thoroughly analyzed. Attention is paid to all stages, starting from feasibility studies to project design, the preparation of the site and infrastructure, to the construction of the individual buildings of nuclear power plants, basic building materials and the technology of their preparation. Emphasis is placed on special technical solutions of the building of nuclear power plants. Experience from the construction of nuclear power plants in Czechoslovakia and abroad covers the period till the end of 1983. (Z.M.). 5 tabs., 206 figs., 130 refs
