Basic nuclear facilities

Here are gathered 1)the decree (2000-476) of the 30. of May 2000 authorizing the CEA to renovate the LECI (Laboratory of irradiated fuel studies). The authorization provides mainly on the construction of a new outbuilding and of its equipments. In this new outbuilding, the activities will be more particularly: the preparation and mechanical characterization of non-fissile materials and the preparation and characterization of irradiated materials and fuels surfaces. 2)the decree (2000-434) of the 22. of May 2000 relative to the shutdown and decommissioning of the nuclear fuel fabrication plant exploited by the FBFC (Societe franco-belge de fabrication de combustible) at Pierrelatte (Drome, France). The operations will consist on 1)the removal and decontamination of all the contaminated materials and equipments 2)the disposal or eventual reuse of these materials or equipments 3)the radioactive cleansing of all the facility.
