Peculiarities of mechanical behaviour of amorphous soft magnetic alloys Co80MoxCr10-xZr10

Description
The effect of composition and annealing on hardness and plasticity of metalloidless magnetic-soft amorphous alloys of Co80-MoxCr10-xZr10 system is studied. The results obtained are discussed in the supposition that both in the alloy with x=0, where hardness monotonously decreases with increase of annealing temperature Ta, and in alloys containing Mo characterized by change in hardness by the curve with maximum, the processes of concentration separation into layers take place. These processes do not result in loss of plasticity, but they may essentially increase hardness, if covalent bond is highly expressed in ranges of concentration separation into layers
