Dynamos of the Sun and stars, and associated convection zone dynamics
Description
The author comments first on the observational constraints provided by the Sun which seem most relevant to the MHD dynamo problem, and then summarizes the hydrodynamic results bearing on those constraints. He then discusses what kind of dynamo behaviour is actually obtained with the model and contrasts that with the observations. Finally, he comments on possible implications of the generalizations for stellar dynamos
