A determination of the polarization of conduction electrons by polarized annihilation
Description
A polarized annihilation method is presented which describes angular distributions of annihilation quanta in ferromagnets. This method allows to determine a change in the angular distribution due to a polarization of the s-electrons. Theoretical values are compared with corresponding experimental results obtained for Fe1-xCox alloys in an external magnetic field as a function of Co concentration. The experimental points fit reasonably well the curve corresponding to antiparallel spin orientations of the s- and d-like electrons
