Description
The leaching behavior of titanate ceramic waste form is very complex. A lot of factors, such as leach time, leach temperature, composition and pH of leachant can effect its leachability. In this study an empirical equation lnR = a + b lnt is used to describe the relationship between the leach rate and leach time of titanate ceramic waste form. The influence of temperature on the leachability of this waste form can be described in terms of the average activation energy. The average activation energies for elemental and mass loss from this waste form are very low in comparison with those of borosilicate glass waste form
