Low energy Gamma-transitions in 237 Np in the range 40-100 KeV
Description
Gamma-singles as well as gamma-gamma coincidence measurements were performed, using a hyper pure Ge-and NaI(T 1) detectors. Measurements were done to identify and to confirm eight doubted gamma-transitions in the level scheme of237 Np in the range (40 -100 KeV). Seven transitions of energies 51.0, 54.1,56.8, 64.8, 79.1, 92.1 and 96.6 KeV have been identified. The placement of only five have been confirmed in the level scheme of237 Np. Their energies are: 54.1, 64.18, 79.1, 92.0 and 96.4 KeV
