Description
It is the first report of a prospective study that it beginning in February of 1996, looking for to determine the degree of gonadal lesion for dispersed radiation, after orquidectomy, in patient with diagnose of testicular seminoma state clinical 1. The radiotherapy was administered with energy of 6 Mev in a total dose from 2000 to 2400 cGy it has more than enough Paraaortic ganglion and ipsilateral pelvic; one carries out densimetry in alive with diodes; the lectures were corrected with TLD and was monitored the espermatogenic activity. The analysis of 13 patients show a percentage average of dose testicular absorbed with relationship to the dose on the white volume, of 3,45%. The distance from the inferior border of the field to the half position of the testicle had a negative correlation, in the limit of the statistical significance, with the percentage of the dose testicular (r -0,563; p = 0,0714). The recount of sperms, after radiotherapy, locates all the patients, so far, in the azospermia or oligospermia category
