High temperature x-ray diffraction studies of the delfluorination reactions of Chukhrovite, falphite, and ralstonite
Description
This paper describes the use of high temperature x-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to study the defluorination reactions of the fluorine-bearing compounds of chukhrovite, falphite and ralstonite. Various defluorination stages of each individual compound in a wide temperature range were identified by using XRD and TGA. The extent and rates of defluorination were accurately measured as a function of temperature
