Kinetics of ammonium metavanadate crystallization at salting out with ammonium chloride

Description
Kinetics of NH4VO3 crystallization by salting out with ammonium chloride at a constant temperature (293, 313, 333 K), different mole ratios NH4Cl:NH4VO3 and at fixed values of the medium pH (6.8-9.1) with/without introduction of NH4VO3 primer and NaCl impurity, was investigated. It is shown that in case of simultaneous introduction of salting-out agent the growth of NH4VO3 crystals occurs mainly by aggregation mechanism. On the basis of analysis of the influence of various factors on nucleation kinetics and oversaturation release rate the conclusion is made on controlling influence of nucleation on salting out kinetics
