Description
This article described the hydrogen risk in the containment in case of severe accident, the research status on hydrogen behavior in case of severe accident at home and abroad, and the specific measures for alleviating or controlling the hydrogen risk. On this basis, the system and method of Tianwan nuclear power plant for controlling hydrogen risk in case of severe accident is introduced, test results and previous inspection results showed that this method has the capacity of severe accident prevention and mitigation, the safety risk is under control and the safety is guaranteed, the demands of the National Nuclear Safety Administration for general technical improvement of nuclear power plant after Fukushima nuclear accident are met.
