Spectroscopic study of zirconia-yytria-neodymia (gadolinium oxide) solid solutions

Examination of the spectra leads to the conclusion that neodymium and gadolinium ions stabilise the cubic form of zirconia by occupying garnet-type crystallographic sites. (author)
