Description

Radioactivity induced by cosmic rays in the elements of space gamma-ray detectors was simulated under irradiation with 1.2 GeV protons. Radioactivity decay data from one minute to one month after irradiation were analyzed for Cd, Te, CSi, and BGO targets. In this paper we present the identification of unstable γ emitters isotopes activated in the samples, the temporal evolution of the 511 keV γ line and the calculation of some isotopes half life and yields of production through the evolution in time of their γ lines
