Determination of basic composition of solid solutions A2B2C6 and A2B6C6 using calculated method

Description
An improved calculated method for the case of titration of sum of zinc and cadmium ions (samples with cation-cation substitution) or only one of the cations (anionanion substitUtion) is developed. The method is suggested for determination of the basic composition of solid solUtions and different two-component systems, particularly, CdTe-ZnTe, CdSe-CdTe, ZnSe-ZnTe. The sUggested method does not require any preliminary experiments for derivation of a calibration equation and it permits to operate with any specimen. The restriction for this method is as follows: calculations with rather high accuracy may be conducted at the ratio of the components from 1:3 to 3:1 (for example, ZnTe:CdTe)
