Radiation methods for medical diagnostics
Description
Diagnostic imaging methods involving atomic and nuclear radiation include digital radiography, x-ray computed tomography, emission tomography, and Compton scatter imaging. The physical principles, capabilities, and limitations of each technique are reviewed. Areas requiring future development are also identified
