Description

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai designed and developed a telecobalt unit, which was named as Bhabhatron-II and has maximum source capacity of 555 TBq 60Co. The unit is being successfully used at various radiotherapy centres. In this paper comprehensive studies are carried out for the investigation of electron contamination in Bhabhatron-II telecobalt unit. Studies are also in progress for other imported telecobalt units such as Theratron-780
