The effect of well dimensions on the efficiency values for well-type NaI-detectors
Description
Photopeak efficiency values for 2 in. X 2 in. and 3 in. x 3 in. well-type NaI-detectors have been calculated. The depth of the well was 4.45 cm and the diameter was 0.5, 1.66 and 4.0 cm, respectively. The source heights were 0.1 and 3.5 cm. The effect of the well dimensions on the efficiency values was analysed for different gamma-ray energies. (author)
