Δ33-medium mass modification and pion spectra

Description
We study the π± spectra obtained in 2, 4, 6 and 8 A GeV Au-Au collisions within the thermal model. We find that the main features of the data can be well described after we include the pions from the decay of the Δ-resonance with medium mass modification. (orig.)
