Description
This paper expounds the basic principle of Dither technology. 12 bits pipeline ADC and test system of Digital Multi-Channel Pulse Amplitude analyzer (DMCA) had been modeled by simulink. The results explain that, Dither can weaken the harmonic waves which are caused by the coherent sampling and quantized error in the quantization of ADC, and thus improves the dynamic properties of ADC and the DNL and INL of DMCA system. At last, it points out that, Dither technology is one of the effective technological approaches to improve the precision of Digital Multi-Channel Pulse Amplitude analyzer. (authors)
