Improved multigroup representation of differential Compton scattering cross sections
Description
A modification of the multigroup transport calculations that employ expansions in terms of Legendre polynomials to represent anisotropic scattering phenomena is presented. The modification virtually eliminates the oscillatory behavior of group-to-group differential scattering cross sections generated without it
