Results of the infrared spectrometer experiment
Creators
Description
Two problems: 1) infrared emission recording of parent molecules in near-the-nuclear region of coma and 2) investigation of infrared nucleus radiation, are solved in the infrared spectrometer experiment. The results of parent molecules are presented in the paper. The presence of carbonic-acid gas (in CO2 line 4.26 μm) in comets is immediately proved for the first time. The CO2 molecule flux from the nucleus of the Halley comet of 6.03.86 being of (2+-0.6)x1028 s-1 is measured. The line of characteristic C-H bond oscillations in 3.35 μm hydrocarbons is determined for the first time. The water molecule flux from the Halley comet nucleus equalling (1.6+-0.2)x1030 s-1 is measured according to the H2O 2.7 μm line
