Description
The European Commission's Euratom Safeguards Directorate has been involved in the design and development of digital video systems for safeguards since 1989/90. The ESD realized early on that in view of the weaknesses in the analog video systems available, it was highly desirable to push for accelerated development and design of digital video systems. This paper is a brief discussion of Euratom's efforts to data in this area
