Measurement of inelastic electron-ion and ion-ion collision cross sections
Description
Technical aspects of studying charged particle collisions, general peculiarities of the experimental technique are discussed. The reactions studied by the method of charged particle intersecting beams are considered. Difficulties of this method are discussed. The analysis carried out by the author shows that though the method of intersecting beams is most reliable, each certain experimental facility, where it is applied, requiers detailed study to be the data obtained would not be doubtfull
