Ultra-linear, 14-bit spectroscopy ADC
- 1. Grumman Corp., Bethpage, NY (USA). Corporate Research Center
Description
An ultra-linear 14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) utilizing a new averaging technique has been developed for nuclear spectroscopy applications. This technique utilizes a sliding scale of 14 bits that provides 100% averaging while maintaining full ADC dynamic range. Results show that low differential non-linearity can be realized. This performance is achieved with low circuit complexity
