Antioxidant anti radiation and antitumor activity of melanin from Cladosporium cladosporiodis sp. (experimental study)

Description
The study involved 145 male mice and 205 laboratory rats. The preparation of soluble melanin was administrated orally and parenterally. Lipid peroxidation was estimated according to the amount of TBA-active in the blood, brain liver and spleen of the rats. The animals were irradiated. Antitumor activity was studied using transplanted Guerin's carcinoma
