Modern state of experimental and theoretical investigations of solar events enriched by helium 3

Description

The review of all experimental data concerning 3He rich solar events was given. The data was compared with the results of theoretical calculations. Main properties of this new solar activity phenomenon were formulated: high ratio of the 3He and 4He nuclei fluxes, very small abundance of the deuterium and tritium, connection 3He rich events with quiet small flares, X ray and radioburst radiation on the Sun, a significant enhancement in the heavy elements, the large variability of the ratio of proton and alpha particle fluxes, detection of the 3He rich events during the whole 11 year cycle solar activity. It was shown that the role of plasma processes in the solar atmosphere was prominent in formation of the particle composition in the 3He rich events. Particular attention was paid to the hypothesis of preferential turbulent injection of the 3He nuclei into the acceleration process
