Problem of infiltration uranium mineralization in fracture zones within crystalline rocks

  • 1. Ministerstvo Geologii SSSR, Moscow

Description

Conditions and formation mechanism of coefficient-black mineralization in jointing rocks of the foundation are considered, its exogeneous-infiltration nature, spatial and genetic relation with destructing initial concentrations of uranium and zone of secondary sulphide enrichment of hypergene zoning are substantiated. The main mineral reducing agent of uranium (pyrrhotite) during exogenous ore formation in crystal rocks devoid of microbiologically active organic substance is detected. The principal directions of further studies on the problem of fracture-infiltration ore formation are pointed out
