Description
Full text: The method of dosimetry of 30 microns width synchrotron planar beam from X17B1 superconducting wiggler beamline at SNLS BNL utilising 'edge-on' MOSFET sensors has been proposed. The average energy of beam filtered by Si and Cu was 64 keV. The spatial resolution of one micron has been achieved firstly with solid state detector. The results obtained with 'edge on' MOSFET sensor demonstrated good agreement with Monte Carlo EGS4 code simulations of dose distribution within 30 microns beam in a lucite phantom
