Phenomenological analysis of hadroproduction of particles with large psub(T) in QCD

Description
Quantum-chromodynamical corrections to the point-like power asymptotics are investigated for particle production processes at large transverse momenta for arbitrary scattering angles. Quark counting rules of anomalous dimensionts are formulated for arbitrary scattering angles, determining the logarithmic corrections to jet and single-particle production cross sections. A parameter-free solution of the psub(T)sup(-4) problem that determines the degree of the scaling violation in inclusive hadron cross sections is obtained by means of these rules. Angular dependences of cross sections of gluon jet formation in pp- and K+p-collisions are presented. Analysis of the experimental situation is perforied basing upon the obtained theoretical results
