About forecasting of the radioactive contamination of atmosphere on the territory of the Republic of Belarus

Description
Results of systematic measurements of cesium 137 air contamination of populated areas on the Belarus territory at 1990-1991 are received and analysed. Expression for average annual concentration of cesium-137 depending on density of soil contamination is received. Estimation of average annual concentration of plutonium 239,240 in air after the Chernobyl NPP accident are made. Expression for secondary wind uplift rate allowing in the first approximation to forecast the radioactive contamination of air on the Belarus territory is received. 6 refs., 1 tab., 1 fig
