Hydrogeochemical map of the Nitric Hills on a scale of 1 : 50 00

Description

The goal was a text evaluation and map expression of the laws of formation of the chemical composition and qualitative properties of groundwater, including the evaluation of anthropogenic influences. The supporting part of the map is the display of the qualitative, geochemical and water management criteria of the groundwater of the first irrigated collector. The complete hydrogeochemical documentation material for the compilation of the map represents 214 chemical analyzes of groundwater from 159 sampling points. Based on the current state of knowledge of the chemical composition and quality of groundwater in the area, the majority of the territory is characterized by very good qualitative properties of groundwater. The specific problem of groundwater in the greater part of the area of interest is their protection. A significant part of groundwater circulates in an environment that, based on general knowledge, can be considered highly vulnerable (fissure or fissure-karst circulations in Mesozoic carbonates). From this point of view, it is problematic in the area to define sub-territories where a more detailed hydrogeochemical survey or research would preferably be required in the future. (authors)
