Thermal fatigue failure of stainless steel components for LMFBR circuits
Description
Two sodium mixers equipping a circuit for testing steam generators experienced sodium leaks after about 7000 hours of operation under load. The failures were due to thermal fatigue. Solutions adopted for repair proved satisfactory. 4 refs
