Description

The proton spin problem is investigated based on the chiral quark model of Diakonov and Petrov. The adopted numerical algorithm enables us to calculate the spin expectation value of the proton in a nonperturbative way, with full inclusion of the sea-quark degrees of freedom. We can then explicitly see the detailed contents of the total spin sum rule as functions of the strength of the chiral background potential
