Total cross section of α-particle interaction with Be and C nuclei

Description

Total α-particle reaction cross sections σR were measured on Be and C nuclei at Eα=100 MeV. Calculation in the quasiclassical approximation showed that in obtaining data on nuclear density distribution from experimentally measured σR it is necessary to take account of nucleus ''clarification'' effect when increasing incident particle energy
